Sticks and Branches

www.dmweddings.com

My Inspiration:
This glamorous stick and branch queen inspires me to use branches and sticks for centerpieces. Why not fill tall vases with braches you can find for free in nature to use as your centerpieces or spray paint sticks with glittery silver paint and hot glue them to boxes you fill with red roses?! There are just so many possibilities if you use your imagination!

Scarf It Up

My Inspiration:
During the cold months it's nice to have the comfort of a warm scarf. I stumbled across the ones pictured above in a quaint little shop along my travels. I thought almost immediately it would be nice to have bridesmaids wear the same color dress and give each a different color scarf to stay warm. It would make a nice gift, give warmth, and add some extra color to your wedding day.

Wintery Mix

My Inspiration:
This beautiful wintery scene ignites all sorts of ideas for a winter wedding. The ladies in your wedding party could wear lush imitation furs and the men won't ever complain about being too hot in their tuxes. Rich jewel tones for flowers and dresses would really make this time of year come alive in photos. Carolers could sing before your ceremony starts, sleigh rides would be blissful during cocktail hour, and hot chocolate could be served throughout the evening. There is a bit of magic in the winter season.

Soups Up

My Inspiration:
Who doesn't love a nice hot bowl of soup on a chilly day?! After making some cabbage and ham soup last week I thought to myself, this would be a happy addition to a winter wedding menu. You could serve mini grilled cheese and tomato soup during cocktail hour or start off your meal with some vegetable or Italian wedding soup. It would be a inexpensive addition your guests would enjoy.
